The Seedstages team was looking for a logo for their crowdsourcing platform that combined the technical with the organic. I came up with about 50 icon sketches using imagery such as leaves, CFL light bulbs, circuit boards, and clouds. After working with the principals to narrow down the number of sketches to ten, mostly centered around the leaf and circuit diagram themes, I drew up the colorful Sprouting Circuit.
